Well, it depends on which bag I’m using. Now that we’re entering the back-to-school season, beach bags are giving way to backpacks and lunch boxes. Different adventures call for different tools. Every fall, I think about what I’d like to carry around with me. What would give me pleasure during the day? What have I been carrying that’s too heavy or no longer necessary? I reused the fabric from a favorite sundress to make the bag in this picture. It carries just enough. On the suggestion of a client, I’m trying out a new work bag that only holds what I use every day. I love the Mary Poppins feeling of my big work bag, but most of the time, a few simple tools are enough. What’s in your bag?
